Catherine Roots still lives in Dorset in her childhood home. Her life is as hectic as it has always been, by choice, and despite repeatedly being told she really ought to slow down. She spends as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren, travels when she can, and laughs often. She continues to drive horses and ride her bicycle – despite warnings from her consultant to never fall off again! – and to take care of the farm and its animals and grow her own vegetables. Life is very much about taking on new challenges, she believes, including the writing of this very book.
