Shaneen Clarke
Shaneen’s journey to empowerment began at the tender age of 16 with her first public speech, ‘Dare to be Great’, which later inspired her debut book. Her early life, dictated by cultural norms, found her engaged at 14 and married by 17. By 27, she was divorced, steadfast in her resolve to define her own destiny beyond societal expectations.
Despite being attracted to the glamour of high society – a world replete with fashion, art, travel, and fine dining – she felt a persistent void, convinced of a greater purpose awaiting her. Her transformation took root when she started sharing her story, highlighting the stark contrast between her seemingly perfect life and her internal quest for meaning.
Her breakthrough emerged when she initiated a series of business tea events at The Ritz, featuring influential speakers and empowering women to pursue purpose-driven lives. However, life took an unexpected detour, stripping her of everything: her income, home, and the support of her faith community.
Yet, this wasn’t the end of her story. Now happily remarried, she has risen as a prominent public speaker, traversing over 22 countries and featuring on a major UK television series. Her mission is to aid others in surmounting adversity and realizing their full potential.
Her journey serves as a beacon of hope, proving the transformative power of daring to be great in the face of life’s trials. If she can do it, so can you.
