About Sarah Clayton
Sarah is the creator of The Write Wild Method, a transformative approach that helps writers reconnect with their creativity through the rhythms of the natural world. After years of burnout, self-doubt, and chronic illness, she discovered that the wild had something essential to teach us—not just about the land, but about how we create, heal, and write.
With a background in creative writing mentoring, creativity coaching and ecology, she now guides writers who feel stuck or overwhelmed back to a more intuitive, sustainable way of writing. Her method has helped writers of all levels move beyond perfectionism and pressure, and into a deeper, freer creative flow.
When she’s not coaching or writing, you’ll find her exploring wild landscapes, scribbling in field notebooks, or researching her next book—Scotland’s Green Ink, which follows in the footsteps of writers inspired by Scottish landscapes.
If you’re ready to stop struggling and start writing in a way that feels alive again, The Write Wild Method is your invitation.
"Spiffing provide a knowledgeable, safe and supportive environment that is difficult to find elsewhere"
I was overwhelmed by the very idea of publishing a book. I knew I needed help but didn’t know what that help looked like. I spoke to James at Spiffing and a whole new world opened up to me. Not only has Spiffing worked with me to become a published author, they’ve also worked with me to have the confidence to publish books.
Spiffing provide a knowledgeable, safe and supportive environment that is difficult to find elsewhere. They listen to you and go to great lengths to help you achieve your creative goals. I will continue publishing books with the Spiffing team, knowing that everything will be done professionally and ethically.
I am looking forward to continuing my publishing journey with the team at Spiffing. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve with their support and am excited for my publishing future. Spiffing are with me all the way, with great marketing help and advice and a keenness to see me succeed that is rare these days. I recognise the commitment that the team at Spiffing make towards my own success and am grateful for it and eager to continue working with them, knowing that they will never let me, or my clients who publish their books with me, down.
