I’d spent ages seeking an agent. After a year, I got an offer and then she told me what she expected of me, and I told her, my vision of my life can’t fit her expectation because her preference isn’t my work or my life. I then chose Spiffing because as a self-determined man, no one here told me who to be and they promised to provide services to help me achieve my vision and they haven’t missed a step in helping me produce and present my creative narrative and identity.

Life has taught me to negotiate with every partner stakeholder I work with, therefore every step and stage of publishing and launching my Indie author career has been supported by every member of staff I’ve engaged with at Spiffing. What has made its greatest mark on me is the cooperation, care and courtesy of the staff and their knowledge of ‘what’s what!’

I have three completed manuscripts. I want the success of my first novel with Spiffing to propel the success of the other three and my latest novel, which I’m currently writing. To build a career as an Indie Author I need to work with people who respect my vision, therefore they won’t tell me what to be, as some agents do. I believe in the staff who’ve shown me respect at every level of production and offered advice which I’ve taken because Spiffing’s teams understand the industry and its changes far better than I do. That’s was one of the main reasons why I signed with Spiffing. Their production design and distribution experience assured me they are right for me. I’m so pleased they’re proved to be more than I expected.
