This is a book of memories – many are my own that remind me that there is more kindness, more good and more caring in the world if we would but look for it.
Some of the writings are other peoples’, usually based on truth, and they have inspired me to look beyond the mundane and into the hearts and minds of the authors.
But more than anything they have led me to look for the best in others and the best in life. Sometimes just a few words or lines speak to the senses in a way that copious writings can lose their meaning.
Never underestimate the power of words to evoke emotion and bring about action and change.
Finally, I hope they have helped me to live the best life possible, full of optimism, full of hope, full of joy, full of wonder. There are miracles all around us, but we must open our eyes to see them.
