Euan Macpherson is a celebrated Scottish author and lecturer, renowned for his captivating historical fiction and rigorous research. Born in Arbroath, he has lived most of his life in Dundee, where he developed a deep connection to Scottish history. Euan holds an Honours degree in English Studies with Scottish Literature from the University of Stirling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Librarianship and Information Studies from Robert Gordon University.
Euan is best known for "The Last Jacobite Heroine," a meticulously researched novel about Lady Anne Mackintosh, a prominent figure in the 1745 Jacobite uprising. His work vividly brings to life the historical landscapes and figures of Scotland, blending factual accuracy with engaging storytelling.
In addition to his writing, Euan is a lecturer at Dundee and Angus College, where he shares his passion for literature and history with his students.
